(May 24, 2005) -- Naval Air Station (NAS) Key West's UH-3H "Sea King" helicopter makes its last flight over the Sand Key lighthouse off the coast of Key West. The helicopter was transferred to NAS Pensacola, Fla. May 26, after serving as NAS' search and rescue helicopter for almost a decade. At the controls for the last training flight were Lieutenants Gainey Maxell and Tony Martinez. The aircrew for the flight was Aviation Structural Mechanic 3rd Class Matthew Turner, Aviation Machinist's Mate 3rd Class Alan Tenbroeck, and Hospital Corpsman 1st Class George Marinez.
