SAN FRANCISCO Lightship No. 83, 24 August, 1947, On trial trip after machinery overhaul, installation [of] new decks (caulked with Minnesota Mining & Mfg. Co. No. EC-754), duplex lanterns, cargo hatch and davits. Cargo ports permanently closed off." Photo No. 9244711; 24 August 1947; photographer unknown.
