Zuiderzee / Schokland-North / Emmeloord Lightstand A 1921 picture, made by J.J.D.de Graaf. This light was broken down in 1942. Schokland is an former island in the Zuiderzee. In 1859 the inhabitats left the island on gouvernement orders, due to a unsafe and unhealty life. By landwinningprojects she found herself on dryland in the middle of the Noord-Oostpolder, from 1942.
